How we decide what to build next
New games are added when they add something the library does not already do — a control scheme, a hazard idea, a scoring twist. We would rather publish one game with a mechanic worth learning than five reskins of a game that already exists here.
Every game goes through the same checklist before it is published: it has to load and start on desktop and mobile, respond to keyboard and touch, detect collisions correctly, calculate and display a score, show a game over screen, restart cleanly, pause when the tab is hidden, and save a local best. If any of those fail, it does not ship.
